Proposition 65 Warning for Be The Palm LLC

Effective Date : March 9th, 2025

WARNING : Products sold by Be The Palm LLC may contain trace amounts of chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. This warning is provided because we use eco-solvent inks in our printing process , which may contain substances regulated under California’s Proposition 65.

Why We Are Providing This Warning

Eco-solvent inks, while formulated to be more environmentally friendly than traditional solvent-based inks, may still contain small quantities of the following chemicals listed under Proposition 65:

- Glycol ethers (e.g., ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol)

- Toluene (in some formulations)

- Phthalates (used as plasticizers)

- Heavy metals (e.g., nickel, cobalt in pigments)

Note :

- These chemicals may be present in uncured ink during the printing process.

- Finished products are safe for everyday use once fully cured/dried.

Exposure Mitigation

While risks are minimal under normal use, we recommend:

- Avoiding prolonged direct skin contact with freshly printed materials.

- Washing hands after handling uncured products.

- Keeping printed materials away from children or pets during the curing process (24–48 hours).

Compliance Statement

This warning is provided to comply with California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). It does not mean our products violate safety standards —eco-solvent inks are widely used and meet industry safety guidelines. For more information about Proposition 65, visit:

- California Customers : This warning is included on product labels, packaging inserts, and during checkout for orders shipped to California addresses.
